“The movement will not halt until the statehood goal is achieved” stated TRS president KCR. He said that the UPA bosses had given him assurance about state formation and any attempt to break that assurance would be met with severe resistance.
KCR was addressing a meeting at Nizamabad town after unveiling a state of Prof. Jayashankar set up by Telangana Jagruthi.
He revealed that the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had assured that the UPA government would initiate Telangana after the president and vice-president elections.
KCR warned that any further delay in state formation would lead to a catastrophe of unimaginable dimensions. He said that achieving Telangana state would be the only true tribute to Prof. Jayashankar.
