Telangana Joint Action Committee representatives met the Congress top leadership and urged them to take a positive decision on Telangana by Sept 30th.
A delegation led by TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram met union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and appealed him on Telangana.
Prof. Kodandaram narrated the series of events which led to the December 9th statement by UPA government. He recounted how one protestor’s death brought down the government in Tunisia and compared it with the negligence of UPA government even after 1000 deaths for Telangana.
The TJAC leadership also informed Mr Shinde about the proposed Telangana March on 30th September and requested him to order the state government to issue permission for the same.
The TJAC delegation then met Congress incharge for the state Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and also requested him to resolve the Telangana issue by 30th September.
JAC delegation consisted of Swami Goud, Vittal, Deviprasad, Ravinder Reddy, Rasamayi Balkishan, Addanki Dayakar and others.
