Health Minister T Harish Rao launched CT scan services at Gandhi hospital and more modern services will be delivered to people soon.
The state government plans to launch CT scan services at 21 hospitals across the state.
The government had set up a catholic with Rs 6.5 crore at Gandhi hospital and MRI machine costing Rs 12.5 crore. They will be available for people in the next 46 days.
Mr Harish Rao lauded the services of Gandhi hospital staff and said they handled over 84,000 covid cases effectively.
The minister further said similar machinery will be set up at Osmania Hospital soon.
According to Mr Harish Rao the state government allocated Rs 176 crore so far.
