Minister KTR demands for powerloom clusters.

Telangana IT and textiles minister Mr K T Rama Rao faulted the central government for not heeding to the requests of the state government.
After exercising his vote at MLC elections in Rajanna Sircilla district, he was speaking to media persons. He said the state government made several requests for powerloom clusters in the state but the central government did not respond.
It was the TRS government that initiated several measures for the welfare of the weavers community in the last seven and half years.
The government provided work through bathukamma saree orders and others. The government also waived their loans. From worker to owner, the government uplifted many weavers.
Mr Rama Rao said the request for powerloom clusters at Sircilla, Dubbaka, Narayanpet and other places went to deaf ears.
However, the state government will continue its fight for its due share in textile development. He demanded a thousand crore budget for Telangana textiles development in the next budget.
