Chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao is strongly determined to win the Munugode Assembly seat and is planning to camp in the constituency for two days. Enraged at the BJP’s unfair methods, Mr KCR himself wants to take up the reigns of the party’s campaign and counter their conspiracies and illegal ways. The CM is likely to hold a massive public meeting on October 30 or 31 at Bangarigadda in Chandur mandal mobilising about one lakh crowds from all the seven mandals of the Munugodu constituency.
People from all the seven mandals – Gatuppal, Munugodu, Chanduru, Choutuppal, Marrigudem, Samsthan Narayanapur, and Nampally would be mobilised for the public meeting to be addressed by the chief minister. He would showcase the achievements of the TRS party since it came to power in 2014 and how it benefitted all sections of society. The Rythu Bandhu beneficiaries are more in the constituency and so also pensioners in various categories are more in number here.
While the ruling party is trying to seek votes by telling people about its work, the BJP leaders are harping on criticism and resorting to the distribution of money to lure the voters. The BJP was already exposed when the police seized cash from its leaders the other day.
Mr KCR decided to put a check on BJP’s aggressive and unfair campaign and is planning to stay put in the constituency for two days overseeing the electioneering himself. The TRS party is already ahead in the campaign compared to other parties. The Congress is lagging far behind in the campaign as it remained a divided house with infighting.
