In just one week the Telangana state could attract an investment of Rs 2,950 crore, thanks to the IT minister Mr KTR for his unrelenting efforts. The total investments are expected to provide employment to about 6,000 people.
Minister Mr KTR laid the foundation for the five projects in Genome valley. According to the officials, Indian Immunologicals is investing Rs 700 crore to produce 300 doses of vaccine for cattle. This is expected to provide employment to 750 people. The edible oil company Gemini Edibles and Fats will be investing Rs 400 crore which is expected to provide employment to 1,000 people.
The giant jewellery company Malabar has come forward to set up its manufacturing unit to invest Rs 750 crore to produce 10 tonnes of ornaments. This unit is expected to provide employment to 2,750 people. RX propellents, GVRP pre-clinical research organisation, and three other projects were inaugurated by IT minister Mr KTR.
They are being set up with an investment of Rs 1,100 crore and are expected to provide employment to about 1,500 people. Unmindful of the politics going around, Mr KTR is focused on attracting investments to the state and sparing no effort in doing so. He proved himself very friendly to the corporate companies and CEOs.
