In the wake of the arrest of Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and the issuance of summons to BRS MLC K Kavitha, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be chairing an important meeting with the party leaders on Friday at Telangana Bhavan.
On Thursday, the state cabinet will meet which will be chaired by the chief minister Mr. KCR. It is likely to debate on the summons to party MLC K Kavitha as well among other issues.
At the party meeting scheduled on Friday, the issue of the liquor scandal and BJP’s witch-hunting is likely to be discussed. The party leadership has asked all the ministers, MLAs, MLCs, chairpersons of various corporations and party district unit presidents, and all other important party functionaries to attend the meeting.
Leaving the minimum decency and decorum and ignoring the Constitution, the BJP government at Centre is going aggressively against the leaders of Opposition parties. Implicating them in false cases, instigating the central government agencies such as IT, ED, and CBI against leaders of Opposition parties, the BJP is trying to tame them by hook or crook. It has been adopting the imperialistic policy establishing a rule of the clique in the country.
The issue will be debated at length at the proposed BRS meeting on Friday including future course of action and possible political alliances to defeat the monstrous BJP.
