Become job providers, not job seekers, Mr KTR tells students.

The IT minister Mr KTR has called upon the students to try to become job providers and not job seekers.

Taking part in the graduation day celebrations at Nizam college, he said there was no limit for opportunities like in the past. Now every student can dream big and make it. He said many Indians, particularly Telugu youth went to the USA and proved themselves.

Many IT companies now are managed by the Indians as they are very talented and hardworking. However it was unfortunate that no big company was established by our people like Google, Microsoft etc. There is a chance for you all to prove in this direction, he said.

Recalling his good old days as a student of the prestigious Nizam college, he said at that time they were clueless about their career. They just studies whatever they got into but landed in different jobs. Now students have better chances to decide their courses and careers well in advance. He also reminded them that the chief minister Mr KCR had just now announced over 90,000 jobs and the passing out graduates should utilise the chance.

The minister during an earlier visit promised the college officials to provide funds for the construction of the girls’ hostel on the campus and he inaugurated it on the graduation day. He said was delighted for being able to contribute his might for his Alma matter. He also promised to do more in the days to come.

Education minister Ms Sabitha Indra Reddy, officials of Osmania University and Nizam college were among those present.
