BC leaders from Andhra Pradesh met CM KCR

Several leaders from BC communities from the Krishna and Guntur districts met the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday. They said they were eager to join the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party and expressed their desire to set up the party unit in Andhra Pradesh.

Krishna district sheep growers association former Chairman Guriparthy Ramakrishna Yadav, Padmashali Sangham leaders Divi Koteswar Rao and Valanukonda Malleswar Rao, goldsmiths’ association leader Nageswar Rao, social activist Thotakura Koteswar Rao and BC association leader Ramanatham Anjan Rao met BRS founder KCR.

They said they witnessed how the barren Mahabubnagar district was turned into a lush green district and how the migration stopped. Within eight years, Telangana witnessed rapid development and people are happy with the plethora of welfare schemes. The development of Hyderabad is phenomenal, they said.

The Andhra Pradesh leaders asked KCR to visit the State that is torn between the leaders of two castes trying to dominate each other. The development and welfare of people badly suffered in the middle. The BC leaders of AP said they were vexed with the caste war and cheap politics. Now they want a true leader like KCR who is strong-willed and credible.

They said they were attracted by the policies and vision of BRS. They said KCR is a brave son of Telugu soil and they know for sure, he would bring prosperity to all people in the country. Mr KCR reportedly said he would soon convene a meeting and take a decision on constituting the various state committees.
