Chief minister Mr KCR said all the backward villages in Telangana witnessed growth after state formation. He said he was saddened to see villages in Sangareddy during the separate Telangana struggle but after the formation of the state, enough funds were being released.
The CM laid foundation stone for the Sangameshwara- Basweshwara lift irrigation project at Narayankhed and addressed the gathering on the occasion. There is no dearth of water now in the district that was poor once. The state government will release funds for every village here and you leaders should plan how to spend them effectively. Hardly anybody believed when I first set out to achieve separate Telangana. Those who criticised me are now witnessing what and how we achieved. Now we are giving free quality power, water, input subsidies and everything and turned agriculture into a beneficial enterprise. The other day Maharashtra CM Mr Uddhav Thackery was asking me about Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema. He wants to implement it in his state. The whole country should follow it.
Urging people to strengthen their hands in his fight to change politics in the country, Mr KCR said development comes if there is peace. Now some people have come dividing people in the name of religion and creating unrest in society. This should go and new change should come. I am fighting for change. There is excellent growth in the IT industry in Hyderabad. If there is peace and law and order here, companies will come here and youth will get job opportunities.
CM KCR said people want development and welfare not hollow pride that does not serve the hungry. The BJP government failed to serve the interests of people and only ruined their lives further. There should be a change now and I am trying my best, he said, seeking best wishes from the people.
