Arvind Kejriwal’s party supports Telangana statehood

Aam Admi party, which was recently launched by anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal and team, has extended its support to Telangana statehood.

Party leader Manish Sisodia visited the deeksha organized by Telangana Student JAC at Jantar Mantar and extended his solidarity to the Telangana cause.

Manish said Aam Admi party understands the 5 decade long Telangana statehood struggle. He reiterated that Aam Aadmi party supports creation of smaller states for better administration. He also stated that the party would constitute separate branches for Telangana and Seemandhra.

Few Telangana activists had met another key leader in Aam Admi party Yogendra Yadav, who was in Hyderabad last week, and sought his party’s support to the statehood issue. Yogendra Yadav, who is a leading psephologist, has always been a vocal supporter of Telangana statehood.
