Telangana Student JAC (TS-JAC), which is spearheading the student movement for Telangana state, has organized protest programs in New Delhi on the 3rd anniversary of December 9th statement.

A group Telangana Student JAC students sat on a dharna at Jantar Mantar demanding immediate initiation of Telangana state formation. Student leaders Pidamarthi Ravi, Rajaram Yadav, Delhi JAC Convenor Ramakrishna Reddy, TJF Ramesh Hazari and others participated in this dharna. CPI National secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy visited the dharna and pledged his support to the protest. At one point some students tried to rush towards Sonia Gandhi’s house at 10, Janpath. The police intervened and arrested the students.

Another team of TS-JAC led by student leaders Krishank, Durgam Bhaskar, Mandala Bhaskar and Daruvu Yellanna conducted a dharna in front of AICC office in New Delhi.
