The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation will soon launch local guided tours covering important historical sites in the district.
Divisional Manager B. Nandiswar and Deputy Manager T. Srinivasa Rao said on Wednesday that it would be a one-day tour starting at 8 a.m. and concluding at 7 p.m. It would cover Eturunagaram wild life sanctuary, Laknavaram lake, Ramappa temple, Ghanpur temples, Thousand Pillar temple, Warangal Fort and Bhadrakali temple. The cost of the trip would be Rs. 450 per person.
They said tourism infrastructure had witnessed considerable development in the district with a wayside hotel at Pembarti, luxury Haritha hotel in Hanamkonda, Resort at Laknavaram lake and cottages at Ramappa temple. Boating facilities were introduced at Laknavaram and Ramappa lakes. (The Hindu)
