APNGOs have finally withdrawn their strike. The talks between CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and APNGO representatives have concluded successfully today evening.
State ministers Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, Pitani Satyanarayana announced that the employees have accepted to withdraw the strike based on the assurance of CM Kiran.
APNGOs leader Ashok Babu has announced that they would continue their protests in other forms. He said the NGOs had to go on a strike because the Seemandhra political leadership has failed in its duty. The employees are expected to attend their duties from tomorrow.
Earlier in the day AP Gazetted officers, AP Agriculture Department employees have also withdrawn the strike.
With the APNGOs also withdrawing their strike, the “Samaikyandhra” protests have now effectively come to an end.
