The IT Minister Mr KTR came to the rescue of another two boys who were unable to pursue their higher education despite getting seats.
This time he provided timely assistance to two meritorious students. Mr Rao met Anil Kumar of Suryapet district and Prashanth Reddy of Mahabubnagar district and provided financial support to help them complete their respective courses.
P. Anil Kumar has completed Intermediate with aggregate of 96% and got JEE (Advanced) Rank 2832, and got admission into IIT, Kharagpur. His father is Sanitary Worker (Multipurpose) in GP Tummal Penpahad and his mother is a daily wage worker.
Mr. V. Prashanth Reddy is a native of Mahbubnagar District. He secured NEET (Gen) State Rank 1306 and admission into MBBS in Suryapet Medical College.
His father Mr. V. Gopal Reddy is an Auto Driver and his mother is an Agriculture worker.
Though both the boys got free seats based on their merit, they are unable to pay other fees including hostel, and mess fee.
In separate interactions with the students, Minister KTR enquired about their well-being and motivated them. He asked the students to ensure they take care of their respective parents as they worked very hard to provide education to them.
Both the students expressed happiness and thanked Minister KTR for the timely help.
The minister has been consistently helping the poor and meritorious students in completing their engineering, medical, and other professional courses. This rare quality of spotting talent and helping is not found in other ministers or businessmen, unfortunately.
