The state government has cleared recruitment for more jobs in various departments. Finance minister T Harish Rao said in addition to last year’s, now it was decided to fill up 2,391 posts. Of which, 1,499 in BC gurukuls, 480 degree college lecturers, 602 junior lecturer posts and 166 vacancies in Information and Public Relations department.
It may be noted that last year the chief minister announced 80,000 jobs and the process of appointment is under way with many finished. With this, almost all pending vacancies in various government departments have been completed as promised by the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
