After nearly two months of hectic campaigning by the political parties, now a kind of silence prevails all over the constituency. The ruling TRS and BJP were at the forefront with fiery speeches while the Congress party lagged behind.
The ruling party leaders showcased their achievements, welfare schemes and development programmes. They also explained to people how the BJP was resorting to undemocratic means to topple elected governments.
But the BJP leaders promised nothing to the people. They restricted themselves to criticising CM KCR and his party leaders. They tried to create chaos by trying to buy the MLAs of the ruling party.
Meanwhile, Munugode people are silent and tight-lipped. They are yet to give their verdict within a few hours. By all means, the ruling TRS party sees an edge in the final outcome as the BJP leaders failed to tell people why they should vote for their party. The impressive crowds at the CM KCR’s meeting also indicate the public mood in favour of the party.
