The Telangana delegation that met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today made it clear to him that “Sakala Janula Samme” will not be withdrawn till a road map with a deadline is not announced. The delegation comprising of Telangana Political JAC, Employees JAC, and Students JAC met the PM in New Delhi on Monday evening.
The delegation led by TRS Supremo KCR, apprised the PM of the state Governments arm twisting tactics in containing the agitation. He also brought to notice the lathi charge and illegal arrest of several leaders participating in the movement. They requested him to take stock of the power supply situation in the state and to instruct the CM to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Later the PM assured the delegation that a decision would be made very soon; however, there are a couple of other consultations to be carried on. Manmohan did not give any time line for the consultation or decision making process. Upon this the delegation expressed their decision to take the movement ahead till Telangana is formed.
