The Seemandhra media is, as usual, misquoting the Stay order issued by the high court division bench on Justice Narasimha Reddy’s judgement on the Srikrishna Committee’s secret 8th chapter.
The division bench comprising chief justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru and justice Vilas V Afzalpurkar, made this interim order only to study the contents of the SKC secret chapter.
This stay cannot be construed as anything against Justice Narasimha Reddy’s judgement.
The honorable division bench wanted to decide the case only after studying the contents of the secret chapter. The bench instructed the Additional Solicitor General to make available the secret chapter in sealed cover. The HC bench has given this stay so that no one can file a contempt of court against the central government in the interim.
