Women of Warangal district have given an unexpected shock to Telugu Desam supremo Chandra Babu Naidu. When he stood up to address an election meeting in Station Ghanpur town, hundred of women, who came to the meeting, suddenly stood up and started leaving the meeting venue.
This unexpected walk-out shocked both Naidu and his party leaders. TDP MLA Seethakka and MP Gundu Sudharani, who were sitting on the dais immediately rushed towards the women folk and requested them to sit for a few minutes. Some TDP cadres even blocked the exit gates and heated arguments ensued between them and the women who wanted to leave.
TDP leaders Kadiyam Srihari, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Revuri Prakash Reddy were seen requesting from the dias itself with folded hands. However, the women continued to walkout of the meeting. By the time Chandra Babu ended his speech, only men folk were left in the meeting.
Later, TDP leaders were seen discussing what has led to this walk-out and what could be its implications.
