Telangana Government has appointed Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao as the Chairman of State Backward Classes Commission. He has served as member of first BC Commission after the state was formed in 2014. Ch Upendra Chary, Shubhapradh Patel Nooli and K Kishore Goud will serve as members of the Commission. Interestingly all the three members of the Commission have played an active role in the statehood movement as student leaders.
CM KCR has finalized the names of the Chairman and members earlier today. The State Chief Secretary has issued the Government Order No 240 appointing the Chairman and members of the BC Commission.
