Use vote as a weapon to show Congress their place: KTR in Dubbak

Speaking at Daulatabad in Dubbaka Assembly constituency, KTR stated that BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao had failed to deliver what he promised during the by-election. He reminded of the promises made by Raghunandan Rao which includes assistance to unemployed youth, pensions to handloom and beedi workers in his personal capacity, free fertilizers to the farmers, free corporate school and hospital, outer ring road for Dubbaka town, and more.

KTR stated that Raghunandan only knows to shout in TV debates, and did not do anything for the people of Dubbaka. During his speech, KTR spoke about how a Congress activist stabbed BRS candidate Kotha Prabakar Reddy during his election campaigning. “Use vote as a weapon to show the opposition parties their place,” KTR said.

Dismissing the comments of BRS grabbing lands of people in Dubbaka, KTR reminded people that the BRS in its manifesto promises to give complete ownership of assigned lands as well.

Attacking Congress party for its anti-farmer policies, KTR said that Revanth Reddy talks of providing three hour power supply to the farmers, Uttam Kumar Reddy calls Rtythu Bandhu a program which is a waste of money and Batti Vikramarka says Dharani would be replaced with the patwari system. He ridiculed the Congress party leaders for their stand towards farmers.

KTR highlighted the BRS party’s manifesto – Life insurance cover of ₹5 lakhs to over 93 lakh below poverty line (BPL) families on the lines of Rythu Bima being implemented to farmers, superfine rice supply to all ration card holders under Telangana Annapurna scheme, a monthly honorarium of ₹3,000 per eligible woman under Saubhagya Laxmi scheme, increase in Asara pension money to Rs. 5000, gas cylinder for Rs. 400, Aarogyasri coverage to be increased to Rs.15 lakh.

“To suppress the voice of KCR, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Union Ministers and CMs of different states were coming to Telangana and Rahul Gandhi from Delhi and DK Shivkumar from Karnataka were also coming here. But a lion-like KCR will fight it alone,” said KTR.

The BRS Working President stated that this election will decide the fate of Dubbaka and Telangana. He asked the people to think wisely and decide on whom to vote for.
