Telangana is slowly turning into a graveyard due to the UPA government’s inaction on the statehood issue. On Monday, another three youngsters took their lives for Telangana.
Erugu Naveen (18) studying Intermediate First Year committed suicide by jumping into the village tank. He hails from Gannaram village in Dichpally village of Nizamabad district. He wrote a suicide note in which he clearly mentioned that he is taking this extreme step because of the extreme delay in Telangana state creation. He mentioned that Congress incharge for the state Azad is making a string of evasive statements on Telangana, which is destroying the self-confidence of Telangana people.
Juvvi Bikshapathi (26) a DCM driver hailing from Chintalagudem village in Choutuppal mandal of Nalgond adistrict committed suicide for Telangana by jumping in front of a running train. The incident happeend between Ghatkesar and Bibinagar in Nalgonda dsitrict. A note was recovered from his pant pocket in which he wrote ” I am committing suicide for Telangana state”
Bikshapathi, who was working as a truck driver, used to travel to Andhra region frequently. He used to discuss with his friends how well developed Andhra region was when compared to Telangana. His friends and relatives said that he has spoken to them over phone about his plans to commit suicide. But before someone could trace him and stop him, Bikshapathi ended his life.
In another case of suicide for Telangana cause, Sambari Naveen (19) a BTech student belonging to Tarigoppula village in Narmetta mandal of Warangal district hung himself from the ceiling fan in his house.
When his family discovered this, Naveen was still alive and was shouting “Jai Telangana” slogans.
Naveen wrote a suicide note in which he stated that the UPA government should declare Telangana atleast with his death. He signed the suicide note and also put his thumb impression on it.
