Students at Telangana University in Nizamabad can now dream big of pursuing their higher studies abroad – a rather elusive prospect for students hailing from modest surroundings.
With Telangana University signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chicago State University in United States of America, there is immense scope for student and faculty exchange, which will facilitate a good number of students to pursue their post graduate studies in the prestigious institution without taking GRE and TOEFL.
In its first phase, students from computer science and technical education departments can avail of the opportunity. The facility will b extended to B Pharm, nursing, chemical technology and other departments later.
Telangana University vice-chancellor Parthasarathi and Chicago State University President David Kanis signed the MoU in the presence of chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao here on Sunday. David Kanis lauded Nizamabad MP K Kavitha for her efforts to make the MoU happen.
