The IT minister Mr K T Rama Rao has said the state government by rolling out industry-friendly policies, created 16.4 lakh jobs directly for the youth.
Taking part via zoom in the international youth convention organised by several institutions, he said unlike in the past, now the permissions to industries are being given within 15 days, he said.
The Telangana state was instrumental in supplying Covid vaccine to the world.
Telangana is the only state to provide safe drinking water to every household through Mission Bhagiratha. By introducing several reforms to Municipal Laws, the very face of villages was changed for the better with improved greenery, sanitation, improved drainage, building graveyards, and massive plantation drives.
Of the 20 best villages announced by the Government of India, 19 villages belonged to Telangana state, he reminded. A total of 12 municipalities were selected under the Swacha Sarvekshan and got awards.
Mr Rama Rao said during the past eight years, the state government ensured the pitching of 240 crore saplings.
