TS Government to Conduct ICET on May 22

The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET – 2015) will be conducted on May 22 and the notification to this effect will be released on February 28, said incharge vice-chancellor of Kakatitya University vice-chancellor of Satavahana University here on Wednesday.

Speaking to media persons along with Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman professor T Papi Reddy after a meeting on the exam schedule, professor Veera Reddy said that the eligible candidates can apply online for Telangana ICET 2015 from March 5.

The process of applying without late fee ends on April 9. But the candidates may also apply for the exam till May 8 by paying Rs 10,000 late fee.

“The students can start downloading the hall tickets from April 30. While the exam will be conducted on May 22 and the results of the same will be announced on June 9 along with the final key,” said Veera Reddy.

Being the in-charge vice-chancellor of Kakatiya University, which is authorised to conduct the ICET exam by the TS government, professor Veera Reddy has arranged the meeting at Satavahana University here on Wednesday and finalised the schedule of the examination.

Convenor of ICET-2015 professor Om Prakash and others concerned attended the meeting. The ICET exam will be conducted at 15 centres in the state. The centres are: Adilabad, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal, Kodad and Jagityal.
