Telangana voters have given the first indication about an impending Pink wave. The results of the MPTC & ZPTC elections seem to be a precursor of an undercurrent TRS wave in Telangana state.
TRS has bagged 3 ZPPs (Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar) and is neck and neck in another 2 ZPPs (Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy), while in Medak ZPP both Congress and TRS have won equal number of ZPTCs.
Congress on the other hand could win only Nalgonda ZPP. While TDP was completely routed in 8 of the Telangana districts, it could make its presence felt only in Khammam district.
Even in MPPs, TRS raced past all its opponents to bag 58 as of now. The Congress stood a distant second with 31 MPPs.
The surge of TRS in Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, and Rangareddy has given clear indications about the party’s growth across all Telangana districts.
It is worth noting that these elections were held much before the actual TRS campaign for MLA and MP elections had began. These results clearly indicate a pro-TRS wave across Telangana districts.
