TRS social media succeeded in debunking BJP’s misleading claims

In this social media world, misleading claims and false news travel as fast as lightning. And some political parties have special expertise in misleading the people. One such attempt by the BJP’s social media was successfully thwarted by the TRS social media.

TRS party working president and minister KT Rama Rao has attended the nomination rally of Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, the party’s nominee in the ensuing Munugode bypoll. While speaking at the rally, KTR was seen signaling Prabhakar Reddy to leave the campaign van. The BJP’s social media used this clip and misled the people by saying that this gesture shows the arrogance of KTR.

While in reality, the scene was entirely different. Prabhakar Reddy was supposed to file the nomination that day and the closing time of nomination was fast approaching. The same was reminded to KTR by MLC Thakkalapalli Ravinder Rao. Alerted by the MLC, KTR asked Prabhakar Reddy to leave the rally and proceed to file his nomination papers. Later, Prabhakar Reddy filed his nomination accompanied by MLC Ravinder Rao and other leaders.

Unaware of the situation, the BJP’s social media has attempted to mud-sling the minister in a bid to score some political brownie points. However, their bid was foiled by the social media soldiers of the TRS party who were successful in letting the people know the facts.
