An opinion poll conducted by Today’s Chanakya in association with a telugu news channel confirmed that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi is all set to do a clean sweep in the 5 seats that it is contesting. Nagam Janardhan Reddy is also poised to win the Nagar Kurnool assembly constituency with a comfortable margin.
The poll revealed that almost 65% of the Telangana voters are unhappy with the way ruling Congress party is dealing the statehood issue.
Majority voters in all the 6 assembly constituencies felt that the main issue that determines these elections is Telangana statehood.
Interestingly, TRS is leading in Mahabubnagar seat and BJP is all set to grab the second place.
The trends indicate that TRS candidates and Nagam Janardhan Reddy will trounce TDP and Congress. These election results should serve as a fitting lesson to both TDP and Congress for cheating the people of Telangana.
