Directly targeting the Seemandhra politicians, who were lobbying against Telangana and hurting the sentiments of Telangana people with insensitive remarks, Telangana Praja Front is launching the ”Quit Telangana-Seemandhra leaders” campaign.
TPF representatives would be conducting a poster of this programme at Basheerbagh Press Club today. Pro-Telangana supporters and various organisations fighting separate statehood would take part in this.
As part of this campaign, TPF had decided to conduct meetings in all ten districts of Telangana from August 1 to August 8 and mobilise public support. TPF is also planning to hold a massive public meeting in Hyderabad on August 9 to warn the Seemandhra leaders to quit Telangana.
Speaking to media, TPF vice-president M Vedakumar said “We are very pained to hear the insensitive remarks made by the Seemandhra leaders, time and again, about the separate state movement in general and suicides of youth in particular”.
