As a precursor to the Sadak Bandh (Highway Blockade) planned later this month, the Telangana JAC launched a ‘bus yatra’ from the martyrs’ memorial at Gun Park on Monday. The first phase of this yatra will cover the National Highway 7 from Hyderabad towards Kurnool.
Speaking at Gun Park, TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram warned the Congress leaders and Ministers and said that they would have to face the ire of the people of Telangana if the UPA government does not act on the issue. “The Congress leaders will be targeted in the next phase of the intensified Telangana movement,” he said.
