Telangana Joint Action Committee has announced that it would be supporting the TRS candidate Molugoori Bikshapathy in the Parakala bypolls.
A decision to this effect was taken at the JAC steering committee meeting held yesterday. Announcing the decision, JAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram said that this decision was taken after a thorough analysis of the special situation in Parakala and after conducting an opinion poll in that constituency.
Kodandaram said that this support will be limited only to Parakala by-polls.
Several TRS leaders including Harish Rao have expessed their happiness over the decision of TJAC.
While BJP leaders have stated that they are unhappy with the TJAC’s decision.
All opinion polls are pointing towards a TRS victory in Parakala. With the latest announcement of TJAC, the only issue that now remains is how big the majority for Molugoori Bikshapathy would be.
