Speaking to the media at the “Meet the Press” organized by journalists, TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram said that the Telangana March is a liberation march aimed at liberating mother Telangana. He said that the March would begin on September 30th and will continue until the government comes down.
Earlier in the day TJAC and TNGO leaders met city police commisioner to seek permission for the Telangana March. But Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma has denied the permission for the same.
Prof. Kodandaram and TNGO leader Swami Goud have said that the March would continue in spite of denial of permission by police. They warned that any attempt to suppress their protest would lead to unsavory incidents.
Massive preparatory rallies for September 30th Telangana March were held in 10 districts of Telangana on Tuesday too. One such rally in Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district saw over 10000 students participate.

In Khammam town CPI New Democracy conducted a massive “Poru Kavaathu” rally as a preparation for the Sept 30th Telangana March. TRS MLA Harish Rao, who attended the meeting urged the people of Telangana to attend the March in large numbers. He said the time is now ripe to launch the final battle and get Telangana.

Revolutionary Balladeer Gaddar flagged off a Bus Yatra at the Gun Park Martyr’s Memorial in Hyderabad. The Yatra was being conducted by Samajika Telangana Mahasabha to drum up support to the September 30 Telangana March.
Speaking at the occasion Gaddar said that the March was necessitated because of the failure of political leaders to solve the statehood issue. He said that bullets and lathis cannot stop the peoples march.
Telangana United Front Chairperson Vimalakka warned that conspiracies to create hurdles to the Telangana March would not be tolerated.
