The Telangana government is setting up 23 new Courts.

Recognizing the new revenue districts as the judicial districts, the Telangana High Court has issued orders setting up 33 new Courts. Earlier the courts were only functioning in  10 old districts now those in the new districts will be recognized as new district courts in new judicial districts.

These courts will come into operation from June 2. Henceforth, there will be 33 district courts in the state, according to High Court registrar General K Suguna. This was followed by a request from the Telangana state government.

She said that all the new revenue districts will be considered judicial districts and there would be transfers across the districts.

She said the chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao had already promised to provide all the necessary infrastructure needed for the new Court buildings in new districts in the past.

She directed the judicial officials to submit the details of cases pending with them through a hard copy or email to the High Court at the earliest.
