Texport Company to set up its centre at Sircilla

Leading Texport Group garments company has decided to set up its production centre at  Sircilla Apparel Park.
The Bangalore-based company will set up its factory at Peddur in Sircilla district at a cost of Rs 60 crore.  Texport signed the agreement with the state government in the presence of state industries, IT and handloom industries Minister Mr K T Rama Rao.
Mr Rao appreciated the Texport Company for coming forward to invest in Sircilla.
The Texport Company representatives have promised to start the centre at the earliest. Texport company MD Goenka said that the industry’s decision was made to set up a factory here in view of the expertise of the weavers in Sircilla and the opportunities available here, which would provide employment to two thousand locals.  Later, Government Handloom and Textiles Commissioner Shailaja Ramaiah and Texport Managing Director Narendra Goenka exchanged MoU.

The state government is developing the Apparel Park at a cost of Rs 175 crore on 63 acres in Peddur village.
The park is being developed for the first time in the country with a ‘built-to-suit’ approach to apparel products as well as exports.  Now Texport is planning to set up its factory in the park on an area of ​​7.42 acres with an investment of Rs 60 crore.  The company has 19 factories across the country, and Texport has been in the apparels manufacturing business since 1978.  In addition the company has a long experience in the readymade garment business mainly in exports.
