The TRS government’s flagship scheme Rythu Bandhu was hailed the world over. Hundreds and thousands of people including scores NRIs took Twitter and the #RythubandhuKCR topped the Twitter messages in the country today. Till today a whopping Rs 50,000 crore was disbursed to farmers at the rate of Rs 5,000 per acre twice a year to lakhs of farmers in the state.
The TRS party called for celebrations across the state and elated at the response the celebrations will continue till Sankranthi festival, said party working president and IT Minister K T Rama Rao addressing media persons at the party office this afternoon.
He listed out various welfare schemes launched by visionary chief minister Mr KCR to strengthen the agricultural sector such as irrigation projects, free uninterrupted quality power to farmers, input subsidy in the form of Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema among others.
The TRS party leaders and cadre were enthused by the #RythubandhuKCR breaking a record on Twitter today.
