With 96.74 per of villages being declared as Open Defecation Free (ODF) in Telangana state in the country, the IT and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao said Telangana has reached a peerless position. The second in the list Tamil Nadu with just 35.39 villages is far behind and that speaks volumes about the able leadership and visionary chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
In his Twitter message, Mr Rama Rao said it was all made possible by the dedicated services of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department personnel and thanked them for keeping the Telangana flag high.
He sought to know which state has got the highest number of villages that are Open Defecation Free (ODF) in his inimitable style.
