The union government is taking all steps to ensure that Telangana statehood process is completed by December 15th.
The six decade long aspiration of Telangana people will be a reality in just another 45 days.
The GoM meeting to be held on 7th Nov will take crucial decisions to this effect. The UPA government has already kept the detailed schedule ready. Accordingly, the central government is planning to conduct an all-party meeting to elicit their views on statehood bill.
The union government is planning to give a final shape to the statehood bill, get approval from cabinet and send it to the President in another two weeks. The bill would then reach state assembly for its opinion.
After the assembly gives its opinion, the bill would be introduced in the winter session of parliament, which starts on Dec 5th.
So, the long cherished dream of Telangana people would be a reality by December 15th of 2013.
