Telangana government to notify 9,168 Group IV posts.

For the first time in the country, the Telangana government has decided to appoint one officer to each municipal ward and soon notification will be issued to recruit 1,862 posts.

It has decided to recruit 6,859 junior assistants, 1,862 ward officers, 429 junior accountants, 18 junior auditors and 42 Grade II welfare officers in the Tribal welfare department. In all 9,168 posts will be filled up.

The Finance ministry has given clearance for the purpose and notification is likely to be issued in two weeks, according to Finance minister T Harish Rao.

The TSPSC is holding a meeting for the purpose today.

The minister said so far the state government has filled up 61,804 posts in various departments as promised by the chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao.

The educated unemployed youth are in an upbeat mood over the announcement. Many of them have been preparing for a long time and the ruling party leaders across the state conducted free coaching camps with free food and study material.

The CM KCR has fulfilled his promise by undertaking massive recruitment in government departments.
