Telangana draft bill to be readied on 21st Nov

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde informed that the GoM has completed its deliberations with all stakeholders in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the GoM members would meet on 21st November to give a final shape to the statehood bill.

The statehood bill would then be placed before Cabinet. The Cabinet is expected to approve the draft bill by the end of this month.

UPA sources informed media that there will be a special Assembly session in fourth week of November, once the President sends the bill to state legislature for its views.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh CM Kiran Kumar Reddy who is putting up a defiant pose, seems to have resigned to the inevitability of AP bifurcation. While every one expected him to either resign or mobilize leaders for a revolt, Kiran Reddy looks to be in no such hurry. His media performances are now seen more as posturing to the Seemandhra audience.
