Telangana districts are continuing their phenomenal performance at the national level. The districts in the state are securing top ranks for maintaining cleanliness.
Rajanna Sircilla and Peddapalli districts bagged first rank and third rank respectively in Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2023 for the quarter October 2022 to December 2022. The districts secured the top positions in the 4 star category.
Expressing his happiness on the achievement, minister KT Rama Rao said, “Congratulations Team Rajanna Siricilla led by the collector. My compliments to All Sarpanches, Panchayat Secretaries, MPOs and District officers.”
In the past too, the state has won several awards at the national level in the rural development sector. Under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana , top 19 out of top 20 gram panchayats were from Telangana.
The initiatives such as Pattana Pragathi, Palle Pragathi and the focus of the Telangana government on cleanliness are bringing a sea change in the state.
