‘TDP Putting Hurdles in Development’: T Harish Rao

Irrigation minister T Harish Rao alleged that the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is trying to pose hurdles to the implementation of each and every development programme in the state.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating a public amenities centre at Hayathnagar Monday, the minister pointed out when Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao proposed to construct Kala Bharati, the opposition members approached the court against it. “The TDP did not develop the city. Now, when we try to develop the city, they are creating trouble,” he alleged.

The minister assured that two lakh acres of agricultural land will be irrigated in Rangareddy district under Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme.

The government was making all efforts to provide nine hours power during day time for farmers, he added.
