TDF-USA Congratulates TRS under your leadership in achieving the Telangana as the 29th State of Indian Union. Telangana people have fought for six decades and made so many sacrifices.
TDF-USA congratulates you for getting the TRS party majority in the Assembly elections and also elected as the leader of TRS Legislative Party. National Congress party gave Telangana with too many restrictions because of Seemandhra leader’s bullying tactics. Telangana is fortunate to have you at the helm to fight and remove all those unconstitutional restrictions imposed on us.
I am writing to you on behalf of Telangana Development Forum-USA (TDF-USA) and TNRIs worldwide to offer our profound and sincere gratitude for the unparallel service you have rendered to our beloved Telangana and her citizens. For the first time, Telangana people have a chance to experience the real self-rule and self-determination and it is historic by any proportions. Please accept our grateful appreciation as a token of our reverence to you and your esteemed sense of Public Service.
TDF expects TRS government to be vigilant and put up the same level of spirited fight as you did during the past 13 years of Telangana movement.
A systematic development plan is to be prepared and grounded methodically and transparently. The most important aspects of rebuilding of our new state are: Employment, Power, Irrigation and Industrialization in which Telangana was deliberately pushed backwards. The other areas such as Social welfare, Education, Healthcare and Technological development should be promoted simultaneously. We have to model our development after China and South Korea and work on a fast track development. New Technologies such as solar energy and high-speed Internet will improve the rural economy, education and healthcare. High-speed broad band cost less and will have a major impact in improving our rural education.
Future development must go to Districts and Mandals, and Hyderabad must be limited to selective non-pollutant National and International companies.
On this historic occasion, TDF-USA commits itself to continue to take an active part in the new Telangana state and play an important role in the reconstruction of Telangana and making it a modern state in India. TDF also encourages individual NRIs to invest and modernize our society and provide employment to our youth.
We strongly believe under your leadership, Telangana will become the most progressive state in India.
On behalf of TDF-USA, I am taking the liberty of asking Laxman Anugu, who is presently visiting India, to invite you personally to USA. Many Telangana NRIs are eagerly waiting to hear your reconstruction plans and procedures, and hope it will happen soon.
