Sunil Babu Kolanpaka, a Telangana activist who is an active member of the organization Telangana Amaraveerula Sakshigaa (TASK), is sitting on a one day fast at Indira Park today.
Sunil Babu’s main demand is scrapping of police cases on students who took part in the ongoing statehood agitation. Sunil Babu has met home minister Sabitha Indra Reddy yesterday and gave her a memorandum urging her to lift these cases immediately.
Several Telangana organizations have extended their solidarity to Sunil Babu’s deeksha.
