Sources in New Delhi indicate that the Telangana statehood draft bill would be sent AP assembly on 25th Nov.
The Group of Ministers (GoM) set up on Telangana statehood has met for the second time on 19th Oct. The GoM is currently processing representations it has received from common people and organizations. It has also asked the state bureaucrats to send detailed reports pertaining to crucial departments.
Sources say that the draft bill would contain the name, boundaries and extent of Telangana state.
The GoM is expected to conclude the distribution of assets, liabilities and resources by November third week.
UPA government is determined to introduce the statehood bill in the winter session of Parliament.
