Spruce up Warangal city for Kakatiya festival, Minister Mr KTR tells officials and local leaders.

 

Reviewing the arrangements being made for the ensuing Kakatiya Festival, the minister asked them to showcase the best of the Kakatiya art and culture.

He wanted the officials to light up the whole city and organise festival in such a manner that every section of the society takes part. The festival begins on July 7 and will last for a week.

Mr KTR wanted local leaders to involve people and conduct literary, cultural, and music programmes to commemorate the occasion.

Meanwhile, Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar and state planning board vice chairman B Vinod Kumar visited Aggilaiah gutta, Padmakshi hillocks, and other places where the programmes are scheduled.

They said they were inviting the 22nd descendent of Kakatiya kings Mr Bhanjdeo from Chattisgarh state to add splendour to the festivities.
