Telangana Congress Committee Working President Uttam Kumar Reddy’s care was gutted at Suryapet last night. The car caught fire when it was parked near a dhaba at Suryapet. Bundles of cash totaling about Rs 2.5 Crore kept under the bonnet of the car caught fire due to the heat generated by the car engine. The fire engulfed the whole car, even as two persons who parked the car there fled the scene.
The car is carrying Uttam Kumar Reddy’s MLA Sticker. A search on AP Transport Department Website revealed that the car number – AP 09 BT 8289 is registered Photon Energy Systems Ltd, belonging to Uttam Kumar Reddy.
