A pair of giraffe from Malaysia , which arrived at the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park on Sunday got some fancy names.
Minister for Environment and Forests Satrucharla Vijaya Rama Raju, who released these giraffes into the Zoo, named the male giraffe ‘Samaikya’ and the female partner ‘Andhra’.
It is ironic to note that even the word “Samaikyandhra” was split into two to name these two Giraffes!
