“They looted our resources, our water and our jobs. Now they are bringing forward the Rayala Telangana idea to continue their looting. We will not accept this proposal at any cost” said Telangana Jagruthi President Kalvakuntla Kavitha. She was addressing the media at Warangal yesterday.
Kavitha narrated the history of Rayalaseema and how the region was ceded to the British in 1800s.
“Starting from Kasu Brahmananda Reddy to Kiran Kumar Reddy, all Rayalaseema leaders have aided the loot of Telangana. Today, they are bringing forward the Rayala Telangana proposal only to make this loot permanent. The people of Telangana have agitated for 60 years only for Telangana with Hyderabad as capital. Where has the Seema ‘porusham‘ gone? Why is no Rayalaseema leader protesting the split of their region?” asked Kavitha
She also informed that Telangana Jagruthi would extend its full cooperation for tomorrow’s bandh.
