The rally organized by TJAC to publicize the September 30th Telangana March was a grand success. The rally, led by TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram was held from Manikeshwar Nagar to RTC X Roads. Several Telangana leaders and activists participated in this rally.
More importantly, TRS cadres participated in large numbers in the rally which laid to rest speculations in Seemandhra media about the party’s participation in Telangana March.
Addressing the rally, Prof. Kodandaram said that the residents of Manikeshwar Nagar have always supported the students of Osmania University and that is the reason behind starting the rally from there.
He said that the Telangana movement will not subside until statehood is declared. He warned the state and central governments not to make any attempts to use force against the movement. “Such an attempt would only lead to further intensification of the movement” Kodandaram said.
TNGO leaders Swami Goud, Devi Prasad, Vittal, TGO leader Srinivas Goud and representatives from several Telangana organizations participated in the rally. All leaders appealed to Telangana citizens to attend the September 30 Telangana March in large numbers.
